"Having worked in Germany when I was 19, I know how life changing an experience abroad can be. Having raised two children while working full-time, I know how tough it can be to have consistent, reliable childcare. I strive to help great families find great au pairs. I explain the process and work with families until the au pair arrives and thereafter. This is truly an amazing childcare option."

Growing up near Washington, DC, Linda started learning French in the first after school language program for elementary students. She then studied German and Spanish which led her to work in the Black Forest of Germany at age 19. After graduating from college and completing her master’s degree, Linda worked with people in psychiatric hospitals and a prison. An impatient practice helped her understand all sides and needs of people. Her family made several career moves around the U.S. which led her to work in public schools. She has served special education students for 20 years in Virginia.
On the advice of a friend, Linda began working with families and au pairs for one of the largest and oldest sponsor agencies in the U.S. Twenty-seven years later, she continues to bring people together and support them on this cultural exchange and childcare journey.
Married for 42 years, Linda has two married children and two grandchildren.
